Romcom Blankets

Something about the start of a new season always makes me want to watch a romantic comedy, preferably one I've already seen 15+ times. Los Angeles is blooming at every turn, which resulted in a Saturday evening double feature of When Harry Met Sally and You've Got Mail and, consequently, this hopefully smile-inducing post :)
So let's get this rolling—our spring chapter matched up with their respective rom-com soulmates.
You Are My Sunshine + You've Got Mail
Both crowd pleasers—and for good reason! This movie is everything I love about New York, the time before smart phones, and Tom Hanks. Quotable moments are truly endless and the ending ("I wanted it to be you!")... I'm literally starting to tear up.
Hot Girl Pink + Pretty in Pink
Okay, sorry, I know it's too obvious. Just go watch the clip of Duckie dancing to Otis Redding and it'll all be okay.
Electric Blue + Notting Hill
I'd watch this movie every day just to see the chase scene at the end. If that doesn't get you hyped for life, I really don't know what will. But perhaps the most important thing we've learned from Notting Hill? "I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."
Party All The Time + To All The Boys I've Loved Before
Think the best romantic comedies don't exist after the 90s? THINK AGAIN, FRIENDS! To All The Boys I've Loved Before is a trilogy of epic proportions, starring the sweetest cast of all time. It's high school romance at its finest.
Limeade + When Harry Met Sally
Is it NYC in the fall? Interviews with impossibly adorable couples? Oklahoma karaoke? "I'll have what she's having"? Hard to pick what we love most about this one. We just know that we do and we'll probably watch it tonight.
